In your divine and unquestionable judgment, you honestly see the other writers as "gnarly men"? 😂 Writers in general are all going to have a similar kind of vibe, the kind of material they write is no reflection on who they are as people or their own personalities, they're all about creating compelling story. "Gnarly men" in general wouldn't give two shits about the artform of constructing compelling stories, spending their career putting words and plot lines together and getting a high off of that, in an office space. You bring up kindergarten teachers and uh... that is the most common and dominant personality among screenwriters.
