Gus is a chess Grandmaster. He is always plotting the moves and counter-moves ahead. This is how he knew his car wasn't safe. It was out of their sight and he was drawn to the hospital, to deal directly with Jesse. It'll all make sense in the future.

Gus needs Jesse's approval to kill Walt; Walt needs Jesse's help to kill Gus. Jesse's the key, but who will win this tug-of-war?

Tbf Gus threatened Walt’s family ONLY after Walt was like “what will you do if I don’t leave Jesse alone.” Before that Gus only said Walt was fired.

But tbf, Walt is only in that position at all because he saved Jesse from killing Gus dealers, and Gus, even though he promised "no more children", let it happened (or even ordered it, we don't know) that Thomas (Brooks brother) was killed. Gus wanted Walt killed, and it was only because they got rid of poor Gale in time. Even after that, Walt would have been fine to continue to work with Gus, but Gus wanted him out anyway. Gus was even willing to bring Jesse back in, but Walt was under thread of his life for more or less the whole season.

@@mrtveye6682 after Jesse said not to kill Walt Gus said Walt said “you’re fired.” That is what happened. It was supposedly over. THEN Walt said “or what?” That’s when gus said what he said about the family. And we have no idea if Gus offered that Andrea brother being killed. That’s your assumption mane. We saw Gus reaction after Jesse accused Gus of hurting a child….

@@illphil6627No, it was not over after Walt was fired. Gus was just slowly influencing Jesse to finally give up on Walt, so he can kill him. And when I write "...let it happened (or even ordered it, we don't know)", that's not an assumption, that is one of two possibilities.

@@mrtveye6682 once again you are assuming. After Jesse said fire Walt that’s what Gus said to Walt. We can assume Gus was going to try to kill Walt in the future but that is an assumption. Gus last words to Walt was “fired”. …. And I said that because you said “let it happen.” Tbh We don’t even know if Gus knew it happened. We seen a segment on the news maybe we don’t even know if that’s could be the 1st time Gus heard about it.
