If what you said was possible then gorillas and chimpanzees should rule the world rn but they don’t since humans figured out how to work together, isolate those animals and negate the advantages of their size and strength. Thats how the weaker early humans without guns or spears, just rocks gained control over resources and nutrition, which led their brains to grow bigger and you know the rest of the story. You could be the size of the Big Show with skills like Bruce Lee and Van Damme but you’d still get taken out by 8 prisoners with shanks. @OJ99922 жыл бұрын
Years since I watched the show, what was the reason for these killings again?
@JohnDoe-kn7ex2 жыл бұрын
@@OJ9992 All the men were arrested for their involvement with Gus’s organization and Mike was paying them off in order to keep them silent which Walt was pissed about because he wanted more money. I think either in this episode or the one before, the lawyer who was representing them got caught putting their money in deposit boxes for them so he got caught up and it all got seized. Walt also just killed Mike, who was the one person protecting them in the first place. So at this point these nine guys have probably been offered really solid deals by the DEA and they probably have information about Heisenberg, so Walt has them killed to avoid loose ends.
@SuperJutah Жыл бұрын
@@JohnDoe-kn7ex The main reason why Walt HAS to do this is as the start of the episode, the manager of the laundromat asks for a reduced sentence for a plea deal which Hank refuses as he has 10 other guys who are all willing to sing like birds... The gig was up as Walt wouldn't know who would talk and who wouldn't and they ALL had to go!
@GeneralSirDouglasMcA Жыл бұрын
@@SuperJutah As ruthless as Walt is to do this, you’re correct. At least one of them would’ve given up Walt had he not done it. Even Jessie didn’t seem to bothered by it in episode 5-9. And while Saul was spooked by the fact that a lawyer was whacked, he otherwise seemed to understand. It’s just Walt’s nonchalant attitude about it that makes us despise him. There’s no guilt, no monologue of him telling himself he had to do it (similar to him prior to Krazy-8’s murder).
@eternalmonkegames185910 ай бұрын
@@JohnDoe-kn7ex I need to remember these story points to not feel sad for Walt's pathetic ending. Walt absolutely deserved his ending, and I feel he still got off too easy. Its amazing how the writers made it hard to root against a man who was evolving into the devil with every new season.

I know Walt liked to take pieces of the people he killed but it really seemed like he took the most from Gus, from his cold stare to the way he hung up with both hands just like Gus did. I know we meme the phrase "This is when Walter White became Heisenberg" but now I'm starting to wonder when exactly did Heisenberg become Gustavo Fring?

Isn't it amazing we got 5 seasons of this brilliant show? But the actual time frame in the show was a span of 2 years. It began when Walt turned 50 and ends when he's 52. So crazy that the seasons made us feel like it was alot longer. That's alot of sh*t to go through in only 2 years.

None of them ratted tho. Mike was also paying their families to reassure them that they would be taken care of as long as they kept their mouths closed. Walter felt like they were a waste of money and a high risk so they would be better off dead.

What's another detailed moment in this scene is how dark the inside of the White's House is, that detail always stuck with me cause if u look at the beginning of the show, anytime u saw the inside of their house, it was always vibrant and full of life, even though it looked like it was plain as vanilla. But each season that went on, darker colors began to take shape till this scene where there was no light left, another example of how the change in Walter White was complete.

@@Chuked Well maybe I over exaggerated a bit but I guess from the beginning of the show till this point if you did a frame by frame comparison, there was more light shown inside the house at the beginning of the show than at this point and also something else I just thought of, this was a great foreshadowing of when u see how dark inside of the house was, if u take a look at the beginning of the next episode which was episode 9 of season 5 entitled "Blood Money" this was after Hank figured out that Walt was Heisenberg, cut to the beginning of the next episode where the house was abandoned and dark and run down, basically it symbolized and completed the destruction of Walt's life and everyone and everything in it.
