Kafkaesque is high A tier. Jesse’s story about his box is so great. It perfectly depicts how he views himself as truly irredeemable trading away his potential for drugs. There’s also a lot of room for interpretation which invites good debate over whether or not Jesse’s story was real and it paralleled his current situation, or if it was a metaphor for what was going on in his current situation. Other than that, your tier list is pretty spot on. The video was hilarious btw which made it all the more enjoyable.

I'm surprised you don't have more views, man. This channel feels like it should have a million subs. Regarding The Fly, I can understand why most would have it lower, as it lacks the major plot progressions that other episodes have. But goddamn if I don't love the humor, the character interactions, the cinematography, and the deeper meaning behind the fly being representative of Walt's feeling of losing control. Not my favorite episode of the series, but it's definitely overhated.

Watched BB about 6 times and also watched every video essay and episode ranking I could get my hands on - don't think I've ever seen someone confidently suggest that the fly meant his home could be potentially bugged - that's a pretty shocking explanation imo. The episode is clearly about the fly - most would agree the fly has a much deeper meaning (certainly the guilt over Jane's death, Walt can't capture or remove the fly whereas Jessie can - Walt can't move on from the death - Jessie can) There's even a huge section dedicated to Jessie's aunt or whatever losing her mind over the opossum. After all of that why would a fly just simply be because his house might be bugged? Not a bad guess if you'd not watched any of the episode but crazy to come to that conclusion if you have actually watched it. They wouldn't of built up an entire episode for the climax to be - omg Walt knows his home that only he lives in might be bugged!!! Surely it's his guilt following him or at least something deeper - shown in a way much like Jessie's aunt and her opossum despite that being cancer related.

the twins killed the old lady so they could use her wheelchair van to take hector to see gus. also i always thought jesse kept calling jane just to hear her voice bc he’ll never hear it again not hoping she would somehow pick up. i think it makes it more heartbreaking imo
