Hello everyone. I just wanted to clarify, and point out I miss spoke and run a 13 millimeter injection pump on my tractor. Thanks!

Thanks for starting this podcast as a die hard Pro Stock tractor fan, I absolutely love the history of the tractors and the pullers who built and hooked them. Can’t wait to see who you get in to interview, starting off with a pretty famous one👍👍

@burtbrooks7731 just hope people are patient as I have so many in the midwest close to me but certainly want to get into other parts of the country and share those stories as well.

That was a great interview. You can't get this information unless you are sitting down with a guy and just visiting. I love the historic versus the current state of pulling. I remember the early days of pulling when the guys would jump on the sled carrying a cement block as it sped by. I suspect the pullers always hoped for a late hook so some of the old boys left the pull to go home or use the bathroom and the walk-on weight would be less as the night went on. I also remember when there was a speed limit and there was a guy on the sled with a yard stick that was suppose to tap on the shoulder of the puller when he exceeded the speed limit. I'll never forget what looked like a speeding puller being repeatedly tapped on, then eventually beat by, the yardstick as he sped down the track! My first exposure to pulling was when I visited my farmer relatives from western Illinois and we attended the pull in Prophetstown, IL. I saw the Allison Team pulling the V-12 MM UB tractor and it was so awesome....the rest is history. Thanks for posting this great interview. I have subscribed and will look forward to future posts. @@isellu Thank you for watching. We really appreciate you! Yes, it's just awesome to hear all of these old guys tell the stories from way back and in this case we had to go to the next generation but we're trying to preserve all that history as much as we can. Appreciate your support!

The Iowa State fair was our "vacation"... the tractor pulls were the highlight.. We had red tractors and I always wanted them to win... When Ernie Ropp hooked to the sled, u knew that white hood deere, was probably going to win... great interview.
