BREAKING: Bayern Munich show interest in Oliver Glasner but Palace manager is staying

Bayern Munich showed interest in Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner in the last few days.
However, the Austrian will be staying as Palace manager and not be speaking to Bayern, who are now in talks with Hansi Flick.
It is understood Glasner is happy at Selhurst Park after making a huge impact in just 12 games there this season.

One reason people don't seem to want the Bayern job is because Bayern works almost like a political party with a lot of influential people who are former players at the club with official positions always comment to the media behind the managers back especially when the results are not as expected. Pep highlighted it as one of the reasons he left them for Citeh. Recently the honorary president of Bayern said that Tuchel couldn't develop young players for example!

Glasner is a really good coach who has done some interesting things at clubs like LASK, Wolfsburg and Frankfurt. Unfortunately, bigger seagulls in the pond will be circling on Olise and Eze and eventually Glasner too.

I didn't realise he was the former Eintracht Frankfurt manager that won the Europa League until Crystal Palace game against ManU. I thought Hodgson was still their manager. I forgot Glasner's name and wasn't aware it was him that Palace appointed, I was too busy with my team Arsenal and the teams around me City and Liverpool

The trouble is, Bayern's leadership at the top is not what it was. Their decision-making and how the club is run is now poor, and managers see it. Managing a big club at the wrong time can damage a manager's reputation.

Glasner is good, I like him, but he is also very lucky. He has had their three excellent forwards - Olise, Eze and Mateta - all fit and playing together, which makes Palace a completely different team. They have won virtually every game in which the three have all played. Hodgson rarely if ever had these guys fit and playing together. He had to rely on the second-string forwards - Ayew and Edouard - who are Championship level at best - a huge drop-off. Unsurprisingly, Hodgson's Palace found it hard to score goals and win games. Palace will soon lose Olise, Eze and Mateta and I predict that they will then be back to fighting relegation.
