Watch the clip of the foul closely- when a player is trying to make a block, they don't have to swing their arm from way back behind their head and put massive force into the swing, they only have to reach out as far as they can and just tap the ball with their fingers, and it's a block. Nope, that was definitely a fully-cocked, hard swung 'ima gonna take your head off' swing by Reese. Frustration from her inability to stop her, but way over the top.

When you inject a really creative and aggressive passer into a lineup, it takes time to adjust. The other players just need to remember to work hard on screens and cuts and Expecting the ball to come their way. When Bird first got to the Celtics he was bouncing passes off of a lot of unsuspecting heads. It didn't take long for that to change.

Great get with that snippet of CC's comments. Part of Angel's problem is that Caitlin can beat her on the floor, but can beat her on the stage with a microphone too, and that must be the worst part. CC has been playing this game on the court and afterwards in the post-game since she was practically a child. When you let someone live tax free in your head while she's building a country full of islands it's hard to remember it's just a game. Clark isn't letting anyone live in her head n she's record tying n breaking things while Reese is getting her double doubles but is just above average in the league. Reese is a double double machine but she's not really affecting games doing so, Clark gets guarded the minute she gets out of bed then to breakfast lunch supper practice pregame warm ups during the game then to post game presser then on dates with Connor too, hell she's probably being game planned guarded while brushing her teeth too. Clark gets game planned for, no one is game planning for Reese hell she's probably not on a scouting report other then "hey don't let that #5 rebound her own misses".

And let’s be real the only reason why you believe that Angel Reese and the other rookies in the class are irrelevant is because y’all Clark fans would rather talk about Clark all day. When reality is Reese just got her 6th consecutive double double matching up with wnba legends. But you know why we don’t hear about that? because we have to sit here and talk about how inconsistent Clark is. When we could be talking about Camren brink, or the Minnesota lynx and their rookie star Alyssa pili, and how they are a championship caliber team. The truth is we only talk about Clark the way we do is because y’all fans won’t allow any spotlight for anyone else. And side note the only time we ever hear about Caitlin Clark is either; when she gets fouled, or in some “altercation” with Reese, or had a big game, or some drama sounding her. John, John, John. Few people hate Angel. Hard to hate whom you don’t know. What people don’t like is a hypocrite. Angel isn’t mature enough yet to overcome her own mouth. She is not consistent as a character, she should evaluate her values and portray herself as what she believes in her core. She plays good basketball usually, she is lazy sometimes and gets easily distracted. But the Villian to victim and back again is unstable and will get called out every time. Today, a good stat line was followed by opening her mouth and inserting her “Joker”. Just admit the foul was reviewed and called. End of story.

It wasn’t intentional The reason the WNBA is so physical is because they do not have the speed, or the footwork to play defense without fouling They also do not have the speed or the footwork to play offense in the paint without fouling or traveling The referees gave up long ago… if the refs tried to call a clean game there would be 120 fouls a game WNBA needs to clean up their game

Reese foul was not personal on CC. It was basketball move. Her eyes on ball not player. Any two players that had such an exchange woulda got same call

Clark said in the other part of interview, that it happens when going for a block. She brushed it off as part of play. Flagrant 1 is appropriate due to lack of control of follow thur and windup ending in contact with someone’s head. Not intentional.

The don't let you off of unintentional manslaughter just because you 'failed to control yourself properly'. Reese knows what happens when you swing your whole arm like a poleaxe in the direction of another players head, whether she claims it was 'just a block attempt' or whatever. "Ooops, clumsy me" don't cut it.
