This. Zero hate for Carson at all. He waited his turn for his opportunity to play while not taking the easy way out. Carson didn’t have his best year, but his supporting cast around him took a Big step back. our receivers “Sucked” this year. Led all of FBS in drops and didn’t consistently create separation. Our O-Line was probably average at best. A lot of those things, especially at Receiver, will be dramatically improved for Gunner in 2025, but I do genuinely hope that Carson has success for Miami next year and they support him better than we did this past year.

Beck got too much credit last year and too much blame this year. He had Bowers and Ladd last year, both making hay in the NFL. They were wide open and caught everything. This year the OL and WRs let him down and he pressed. Who on the offense this year will be a first round NFL draft pick? Our talent level on offense has dropped considerably the last couple of years.

Well we benefit at UGA that's for sure. If you think game manager is good enough these days you're wrong. That's what he was this year. So one good and one bad. The only reason he's transferring is that draft stock is mighty low for him. You gotta be asking if you're Beck how a guy like Cam Ward in the almighty ACC is projected to be the #1 or 2 QB taken off the board. Then again--Carson has gotta learn how to take a little off of those Randy Johnson fastball throws so WR's can catch it.

It was the best decision for him to show he is healthy for the draft next year. I’m just glad he won’t be back at UGA. He is overrated by everyone including media and some fans. We only got to the SEC title game because AL fk’d up and lost to OU. That allowed GA to slip in and beat an overrated TX. TX will prove they aren’t that overrated by beating Ohio State but not sure if they can. Be interesting to see how they perform tomorrow.
