I'm a Villa fan & like the look of this lad,he was great for Burnley & did fantastic at Dortmund last season. Unai will get the best out of him & now he's in the NL euro's squad, at only 22 he'll fit our system perfectly & i'd have thought Chelsea would've given him more game time, good for Villa & i can see the lad shining.

Hey Charlie, Am I disappointed, not massively. Yes sure, he is evidently a great player who will have a fantastic career, but is he better than a fit Chilwell, probably not. Is he more committed and fun to watch as Cucurella, definitely not! Good luck to him I say ……. If you can get 40 million pounds for a 3rd choice left back, that is pretty impressive! Cheers Michael

Villa fan here - I’d be gutted if Durán left - he’s 20 and built like a brick shizen hausen - he’s a huge talent and is only going to get better and better - on the flip side I’ve heard he can be a bit difficult to control- you e seen his goals v palace and Liverpool and Everton and in Europe- premier league goals off the bench - he’s probably frustrated because he’s understudy to Watkins but if you get him I d be gutted like I was when you got chukwamaka ( can’t spell his name )

@@Paul-vl2wg You're not getting either of those. Ramsey has been injured for most the season so we won't sell him this year cause is value will double when he gets a good season under his belt. And they won't sell Luiz to a prem competitor (unless you're offering £80m+). The deal with Juve is well underway for him as well. Plus their taking Alesha Lehmann as well so they can stay together

This doesn’t make Duran’s purchase only worth 2.75 mill. He’s still 40 mill. Just like others we go good value for, it’s how we use the money and by all accounts we are losing the better player in the swap.

Duran's ceiling is absolutely world class... It's his attitude and work ethic you have to contend with. Looks like Mattesen has a lower ceiling but a more reliable player.
