The reason so many talk of Coach Prime leaving is it allows their hate and jealousy new avenue to dismiss his accomplishments. If he goes to the NFL, which he won't, or a bigger program nationally like Florida State, his accomplishments can more easily be dismissed. Doing it at Colorado, building a Dynasty here, allows nothing to confuse the power of his accomplishment.

I think both recruits and the public at large know that CU has arrived already, because only the actually good teams can show up to an above-average conference foe's house, play objectively poorly in several areas, and still come out with a double-digit W. Winning a football game against a Texas team in Texas is no laughing matter. You are exactly spot on about the SEC; the perks are probably great but, competitively, it's a meat grinder. If I'm a recruit and I see a landscape where I can get NFL coaching from Hall of Famers, plus serious NIL money, playing for a team that has a much more realistic shot at a conference championship each year, why would I not pick Boulder to spend three or four years?

This is one of the best channels the Buffs has. Julian school and my kid school are rivals. Rome High School and Carrollton are big games in GA. I’m surprised Coach Prime hasn’t recruited our kids. We got kids on Clemson defense, Jam Griffin an Oregon State starting RB. NC State DL, Oklahoma Sooners etc. kids all over the country. Somebody needs to tell Prime stop skipping over us

I for one DO NOT CARE whether Lewis comes to CU. I'm tired of H.S. kids who've had everyone kiss their booty's with hype videos etc. CU has a kid #22 who can run, read, and spin it. Were I to go after anyone, it might be Tulane's frosh qb. Whilst Lewis is a definitely a baller, you're going to have to earn a spot with Coach Sanders, who has said, "you can play and start as a freshman...IF you work hard and earn the job" (paraphrasing).
