Probably the biggest thing that McClain had going against him is when he arrived at Colorado is Travis was there. Your effort would be consistently compared to Travis, which I believe was done on purpose to teach him how to work. But when you get in the rooms with Dawgs you have to act like Dawgs or you will be exposed. The Dawgs in this room were different. Add in poor self discipline just a matter of time.

When both guys had the same opportunity, Travis succeeded in the same system that Cormani failed in. So people have to cope again with reality. 3. To be honest, I was surprised that he ever came to Boulder. When he arrived in May of last year and didn’t start practices at the beginning of the summer. It appears to me to that he was used to doing what he wanted from high school and he wasn’t going to be taken off the field no matter. Now he enters college and bringing those same attitude, mentality and work ethic. It took him mid-season to really come along. Not to mention that during this time, he was late to meetings, class and not being in the film room. He seems very immature. Once you enter college, talent level is very different. He never lived up to the 5 star status. I think he was upset when CP busted him out in a Press Conference last year. Travis is very talented, but he made the meeting and he watched film.
