9:00 you can install a mod called "snapping tills" from the steam workshop to make you always till the ground in a perfect grid, strongly recommend, alterantively since you're playing Wurt you can use the new skill tree that Klei added, there is a skill that allows regular merms to hold tools and it also allows them to perfectly till the ground if you command them to do it

I recommend geo placement for all the farming/placing stuff! You can configure the mod by clicking B and use it for whatever you wish

you can fix a lot of minor inconveniences like the farming with things like snapping tills mod, and it pains to see somone not using geometric placement. both mods are in the workshop and very easy to install and are a must.
