I just saw Dormaahene last Saturday October 5, 2024 at Asankraguaa funeral in Wassa. He came to the funeral of his houseboy girlfriend mother's funeral. There were 5 funerals being celebrated under one hut that day. We were there to celebrate the former MP's mother's funeral. Mr. Asante's mother who was 96 yrs old. Dormaahene's ahenkwaa asked us to rise up for respect but some of us refused to do so. He came to his girlfriend mother's funeral as we understood. He lied. It was annoying and disrespectful to everyone. He was not respected bcos his followers will not stop the drumming so that people could offer their funeral contributions. Every family lost money. I wish I had someone brave with me to arrest him. It was raining so we could have easily wrestled him down in the mud and plaster him with mud and remove his sandals for coming there to disturb the funerals. People were angry bcos he was an uninvited guest who didn't respect the people there. He is really a punk.
