This kid is legit. I really hope he wrestles in college. He will continue to build on that already beautiful gift he has of explosive power, but will get better and better in that highly competitive environment. In 5 years he will be so much stronger than he already is, which is scary. He really has what it takes to be at the highest levels in wrestling and clearly submission grappling-and he has nothing but time to keep getting better. I wish this young man the best of luck and can’t wait to continue to watch him improve

Awesome breakdown! I would of liked to see the straight arm bar attempt I had on Grippo that I heard pop his face was grimacing. Also Mejia had only one No points take down on me not two takedowns. I popped back up to my feet in three seconds and counted w my own but it was a tactical error on my part. I should of stuffed the head instead of attempting a roll through. Thank you 🙏🏽

@@mrolliepoper I think it's fair to say even though he's got a wrestling base, his jiu-jitsu is excellent too. Even if its not a traditional sports-jitsu type gameplan, he chases the back really well and passes guard well, chases submissions too. Has good leglock defence too!

What do you think of the ADCC scoring system? I mean be alone in this, but I’m not a huge fan. But I think all BJJ points system are kind of @ss for a lot of matches.

I’ll always prefer sub only but I do like wrestling being rewarded and ineffective guard pulling being a negative! IMO if you pull guard and don’t get sweeps or subs, you’ve just been avoiding getting your guard passed while the other guy works. So I kinda get it
