Breaking Down and Making Hay with a "New" Baler

Welcome back to Two Farm Boys! In this video, we fix a leak on the tractor, try out a new square baler, and bring in some hay with our trusty pickup trucks. Our tractor and equipment in this video are a John Deere 4105 compact / utility tractor, a CCM 165 drum mower, a Ford 513 bar rake, a New Holland 271 square baler, a 1982 GMC 1500 6.2 Diesel, a Chevy K2500 7.4L 5-speed, and a Hudson 20ft flatbed trailer. And of course some good old fashioned manual labor to sling bales. Enjoy!

Great to see you young men sq baling. It's a lot cheaper to get into than round baling. And there's a good market for sq bale's if you have some extra. And you'll get in great shape . The chicks will dig you.

Yes sir! Definitely agree on the startup cost. The chicks will dig you until you ask them to come help pick up said hay. Lol. If you find one that will though, she's a keeper! God bless - Everett
