If the women is wrong, still she should be paid maintenance or alimoney? This is only factor that divorce are rising. There was recently a judgment of Honble Supreme Court that women entangled her previous husband in matrimonial cases and extort Rs 40 lakh from him then again married to a GM of a Bank, again entangled his husband in matrimonial cases and Supreme Court granted 2 Crore alimony to that women despite the fact that the women was working as HR in a company and getting salary of Rs 1.50 lakh per month. Why the husband is always pennalized

​@@poonamrani5319the laws only take side of the wife ji....india has highest number of fake cases on husbands than any other country ji. A successful indian guy shouldn't marry in this country and shall just marry in foreign.

@poonamrani5319 Thankyou ji everyone has its own story. We cannot put all the things in a strait jacket formula. Husband and wife both are equally responsible. We cannot say that wife is bechari, abla nari and husband are culprits. Both are equally culprits

Why this bias then towards women in laws and also why not equal penalization and punishment for them ?? We know for a fact that every case is different. Then won't it be a good idea to give rights on both sides EQUALLY ?

Mr. Ashok ji aisa hai interim maintenance toh right hai wife chahe woh sahi ho ya galat initial stage pe grant kar hi dete hai baaki jab trail shuru hota hai toh most of the time wife don't attends those dates because they know have filed false cases against you chahe woh dv ho ya 498a. Baaki first two years are for women in court rest apke. Baaki harassment and pressurize zarur karte hai yeh log CAW CELL is biased jaha sirf solve kam settlement ki baat zyada hoti hai.

@@poonamrani5319 really sad to hear this. With the current provisions in law however, you will get support comparatively easily if your problem is genuine. And being a lady you will be heard much faster and actions would also be taken much faster. At the same time I would also like to just ask you two things - 1) what if genders are reversed and a husband writes the same thing as you wrote that wife is unable to maintain and due to which my daughter is a single child. He won't have even got the custody of the child in first place because the laws are such, secondly he won't be heard and the legal system in matrimonial cases is quite difficult for men already. Conclusion - You atleast have the child on your side to which a husband is liable to maintain. Had the gender been reversed, husband will have no provisions as our society doesn't accept that a woman should also be paying for the child's welfare if not equally then something. 2) now going further if you have a boy as a child, won't you be concerned with the fact that there are near to none provisions to safeguard him in matrimonial cases? The girl and girl's family can humiliate you, the girl after marrying can tell that my mother-in-law behaved with me badly (even though you did not) and on the ground of mental cruelty asks for divorce with an exorbitant maintainance and alimony. And all you guys can do is either defend (you guys will be heard almost after 2-3yrs), or you go for quashing which most of the lower courts don't even consider. - How will you deal woth this situation ? - Isint it alarming even for your male child's future ?
