Hill country hunter for 25ish years. Always enjoy hearing other's thoughts and strategies. Thermals and stealthy ACCESS can be humbling, especially if new to their existence. You find westerly/windward bedding often on tirtiary points or nobs...looking at terrain features for visual advantages. They see you coming looooong before you think lol!

This was very informative and helped me understand more of the terminology as i hunt public land hill country in south central IN. And helped me understand more about why I've had more success or seen more bucks in certain areas! Keep up the good work and information fellas! Appreciate it!

I've ran into the same issue using the terrain map loosing crisp features the further you zoom in. I take a screenshot of the terrain map and zoom in on it to keep the crispness of the terrain map.

Josh the Legend, I am truly , honestly sorry to bother you , bug you… Sincere apologies , but ….. I dropped you a message about 2 , 3 weeks ago , asking about the name of the track or the artist that was used at the very last of a couple of your videos. To this day , no success…🤔😢 Today Monday ( in the UK) , I am flying to Crete on Wednesday , as I have decided to retire from catering after 35 years , last Sunday , and I will be going to work on a fishing boat. I would have loved to take this song with me , just as I have been searching on and on without joy. I shall send a copy of this message to Dan, hoping he can help…. I’ll still be a subscriber of yours , waiting to watch for your videos between the fishing chores 😂. Thank you once again for the adventures Chris from UK

It's not a song sir. It is a subscription service that allows you to use tunes without copyright issues. I posted this via the hunting beast account the first time you mentioned it. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Would you hunt the armpit scenario morning or evening or all day? Or just after day break until noon? I see a spot like that being a setup on no later then 1 or 2 pm
@thehuntingbeast Жыл бұрын
Depends on a lot of factors that determine whether bucks go thru there morning or evening and where they would be when your setting up, and wind/thermals of coarse.

How does harvesting a mature doe effect historical buck data? Also, what happens to buck twins after two years? Thanks in advance
@thehuntingbeast Жыл бұрын
I am sure removing a doe might have some effect. But its probably insignificant. I would say twin bucks split up shortly after leaving the mother doe.
