It worked for me, cracking the gospels. Better by lightyears than anything ever presented by scholars. All can be fitted precisely in contemporary historiography and archeological discoveries. Without it it is almost impossible to penetrate the gospels to the meanings wrapped in specific coding style So Luhmann's approach in part is a substantial element of the Christ itself, enabling the translation of the Christ in the gospels to the Christ in todays world, as if the Second Coming happened, through the application. Few if any breakthroughs are more important, by a stretch.
