Im starting to hate the Derozan signing more and more. Defensively, he’s just not a good fit next to sabonis (most players aren’t). We need to be able to switch 1-4 if Sabonis is our 5. Fox, Keon, Keegan, Isaac jones/Crowder might be able to get it done, but we need a better wing defender still.

I mean, if you have derozan on your team, you should at least try hiding him on the defensive side, but as KFR pointed out they just hand the easy match up to the opponent by just giving up at screens.

@@nickgoodrich2092 ya a trade for Caruso/Lavine would’ve been better. Lavine shoots 40% from three and fits in the offense should’ve took him this summer at his lowest and Caruso would’ve been added defense

Start Monk, Derozan to the second unit, and start pushing the pace. That's how we got to the playoffs last time. Honestly, give Derozan the Isaiah Thomas treatment. Stick him in the corner, guard the shooter, and switch any actions coming up top. PS - Lyles isn't a 5, just like Sabonis isn't a rim protector.
