Are they going to pay for the stadiums construction, maintenance and up keep? Taxpayers are sick and tired of paying for this nonsense.

Oh yeah because not charging athletes $150k to study the easiest bs degree possible - that in no way improves their career prospects - just so their studies don’t clash with their sports schedule is so generous of the university. It’s such a blatant contradiction. If this sport is not a job but merely an amateur hobby that ought to be played because players love the sport, why are they forced to prioritise it over their education? Nowhere else in the world do you see universities exploiting a group of their students in this way. These student-athletes are merely cash cows for these institutions. Their performance in a sport is prioritised over providing a rigorous education that’ll help improve their career prospects.
