So, so, *so* many people in Asia in general need to see this. The Middle East & South Asia both have this issue. We call such people "Angrezo ke ghulaam", meaning the slaves of the Englishmen (or just English-speaking White people in general). If your skin is lighter, they treat it as something to be lauded and a dark skin as something to be ashamed of. Of course not everyone feels this way but this way of thinking is way too prevalent back in South Asia.

In fact he said we should study it HOWEVER a lot of the time we focus on that and for some it’s studying that but not the Quran itself. You mention Indonesia, Syaikh.... My experience when I was in Senior high school. I went to school by bus, the fee is just lower than regular people. It's special for student. The the bus overloaded by passengers, the bus conductor would force students or asked us to stand up, but it didn't happen to Ch....s.. students, but some of them sometimes voluntarily stand up
