Good trade for both sides. White Sox desperately needed to inject some talent into that farm system and they did just that. And the Red Sox get themselves an ace caliber pitcher. I’d be pretty happy if I was a fan of either team.

So happy we got a lefty starter, gotta extent him, but Teel was massive. Montgomery is prolly gonna be good, but we have guys in the outfield. Go get another solid/great starter, and our rotation might be fixed.

Fans can be so obsessed with prospects. I understand it's fun and exciting to see the potential in a player but they are literally unproven at the majors. Yet people value someone who hasn't proven anything in the majors over someone like Crochet. It's such a weird mindset to be in as a fan as you might as well be a Marlins fan or something. Just always talk about these great, young talents in the pipeline yet do nothing going forward.
