Me too , the more I ride it, the better it gets. I’ve rode a Gs1200 , Ducati Diavel & Hayabusa Gen 3. This is the cheapest, easiest, fuss free bike of them all . Economical too .

@@rajindarsingh1417 i was actually thinking of a haybusa at some point but it doesn't come with the luggage, it's heavy and long, you're pretty leaned forward and so on, so i still think that this is the best sport touring bike out there at the moment. I must say that it wouldn't bother me a Diavel as a second bike. Cheers
@rajindarsingh141722 күн бұрын
The Busa is really comfortable for long rides , probably the best but nil luggage & more cumbersome for short town rides.

Enjoy your new bike!! I have a 2022 from new and love it. Ive done lots of mods, Puig screen, AliExpress screen mounted satnav holder, Powerbronze handguards, full decat exhaust system and Woolich remap, frame sliders with spot lights mounted on them, Tailtidy, low seat thats also had memory foam added and probably more things ive forgot 😂 Absolutely love the bike and ive done tours around Wales (north and south) and Yorkshire but the best of all was Picos De Europa mountain area of northern Spain ❤❤

@@andreikawa69 I have Delkevic decat system and a Lextek end can and it's loud with the baffle in 😈😈, I had a radiator guard and Oxford heated grips fitted when new. I have the SW Motec frame sliders as I think they look the best and a great price too

@JIMMER15 How do you find the Lextek can so far, any issues in terms of quality and also are you happy with the looks and sound? I've been recommended to go for a bigger brand as Arrow, Mivv, Akra but i'd like a twin system for Lextek so i'm in a bit of a dilemma. I want the SW motech as well, i agree that they look thr sharpest of all, did you have to remove the fairings to install them? I've had Oxford Grips on my Z and they were great but i want something a bit more neat without the small control box on the handlebar. Thanks

@@andreikawa69 I think the Lextek quality is very good and I don't have any issues with it at all. The sound is amazing too. Have a look at Ultimateaddons for a more integrated heated grips (my last reply seemed to have disappeared so sorry if I'm repeating myself 😁)

@@andreikawa69 I have no issues with the Lextek/Delkevic exhausts and they're great quality for the money. It is a fairing off job for the frame sliders but watch a few KZbin videos and you'll do it in minutes. Have a look at Ultimateaddons for some good looking heated grips.

Quick shifters are timed differently in different power mods, normally rain & road = smooth changes at lower revs, sport modes clunky at low revs ? And visa versa, ie if your doing comuting or sticking to speed limits dont use sport mode, visa versa😅
@andreikawa69Ай бұрын
@@richardwoodhouse8397 fair enough mate
@EfferusZangetsuАй бұрын
If I am not mistaken you can modify the timing in the settings. I saw it in some youtube video, but didn't have the chance to play with it myself. Just barely made it for the break in service before the winter set in.

Have a look at Koso heated grips. I didn't like the clunky control box of the Oxford - and limited handlebar space for it. The Koso grips were not difficult to fit, I even did it myself. It's a decent option.

I read somewhere the 1000 / 1100 SX sub frame is not designed (probably the 'sport' part of sport tourer) to take weight of - panniers, top box and pillion. That's why Kawasaki don't provide it. Not saying its not done though. I just know there is a specific reason why it isn't offered by the manufacturer.
@andreikawa69Ай бұрын
@@MegaWebsters i've had both panniers, top box and my wife for the past 3 years on my Z1000sx and i haven't had a single problem. The bolts that hold the subframe are very weak apparently but that's not valid for every bike out there. I'll probably replace them with some longer, stronger bolts for the peace of mind. Thanks
@Scottm-n6hАй бұрын
That makes absolutely no sense. Kawasaki has some of the best engineers on earth. Why would they build a sport touring motorcycle and not build it strong enough to support panniers and a passenger? I do not think that they would ever do something that foolish. Especially on a bike that is built for touring.
@richardwoodhouse8397Ай бұрын
It was the zzr1400 thay had that problem, whay kawasaki advise is when fully loaded paniers shouldn't be used in conjunction with top box and visa versa with a pillion, no pillion use both up to 140mph can do more without top box 180s ok
@Scottm-n6hАй бұрын
@richardwoodhouse8397 prior to buying my ninja 1000 SXI had a concourse 14, which is a gtr 1400, and it's the same thing as the ZR 1400, and I never had a problem using all 3 bags on it. I traded it in with a hundred thousand miles
@adrianposto27 күн бұрын
I just saw someone else reviewing this bike and said that the reason for which Kawasaki opted for only having the side cases and no top box is due to the fact that at higher speeds it can become unstable, not because the subframe is weak. I highly doubt the Engineers from Kawasaki are so dumb or unprepared that they built a bike with a weak subframe. That wouldn’t make any sense.

Lextech is cheap crap. Get something decent and professionally fitted. And whatever you do - get the ECU remapped otherwise the bike will run like a dog. And dude, short levers are the height of shite. There’s a reason why no motorbike racing bikes anywhere use them.. I’m with 44Teeth on this one 😂
@andreikawa69Ай бұрын
@@Kurlach Genuine question, how do you know lextek is cheap crap? Have you had any exhausts from them? Everyone on the Kawasaki groups on FB brags them a lot and 90% of the people seem to think that their bikes run good without a tune (i'm not saying that i wouldn't go for one). For me, short levers are one of the best mods to do on a bike, always had them, always will, no matter who's saying what
