Hi, awesome videos, and i really have similar taste in bikes as you, but i dont change that often. Could you make some statements on how the Enduro, Altutude and Wreckogning compare? Im looking for a new bike as my ¨16 Strive is a bit outdated. Hade some runs on Megatower (fast up but a bit harsh going down) Ransom (really good both up and down, but a bit hesitant to let it all go), Slash (supereffective but a bit harsh, might have had to much air in the shock) Firebird (cant remeber how it climbed but i loved how it felt going downhill) and some other but in my head im leaning towards a Wreckogning or a Firebird. Cant get my hands on an Spesh Enduro, but it seems like it might be a bit to much of a bike, as the trails around here are much up and down.
@VanCan3 жыл бұрын
The wreck isn’t as plush feeling as the enduro, it’s a bit better at jibbing and manuals. Sounds like if you like the firebird and that DH feeling, that would be the bike for you.

Is the wreckoning worth the money? I need the exact same style bike you bought big enduro and I live exactly where you do and ride same trails. You think it would be easy to choose and buy a bike but it’s harder then you think. So many good options I know I love the way the evil looks, suspension makes sense from an engineering standpoint and geo isn’t too crazy. I’ve also heard reviews that describe the way the bike feels exactly how I would want a bike to feel. People always say go demo bikes but I’ve called every single bike store on the shore and none are demoing right now, but I really need a bike. 8 grand is a lot of money is it worth the price or would I be better off saving my money on a giant reign, yt, wait for new Norco range. Your opinions would be much appreciated
@VanCan3 жыл бұрын
Bikes are all great these days, so you can't really go wrong. The new range will be like my old enduro, a plow truck. The wreck is a big bike with small bike feel. The reign is more all-mountain, like the sight. My advice is go with what you want most.

Our local bike park has just announced a permanent closure of its lift access to bikers. They are thinking of leaving trails open to MTBing and maybe working on a XC bike park but riders still need to climb up a trail to get to the top where the bike park will be. A DH bike would be too heavy to bike up this trail I would think. Is there another option that doesn't sacrifice the technical performance benefits that you would get with a downhill bike? Assuming you can't afford a DH e-bike (I am not even sure one exists). I saw in some of your videos it looks like you bike up trails, so that is why I am wondering.
