The game against Kansas will be at Arrowhead stadium Saturday in Kansas City Mo which is 40 min from University of Kansas in Lawrence Ks. They play at Arrowhead Stadium for their bigger games. Kansas will try to pull in a lot of Chiefs fans to watch the game from Kansas City Mo. so it will be hyped up with all the press. Especially the Chiefs being undefeated and on the road to a Super Bowl and undefeated season if they don’t lose.

Most points Utes given up since 2014. Our offense was supposed to struggle a little against too Big 12 defense. It did but as usual made appropriate adjustments. Defense should have dominated against freshman QB.

The key to beating the Kansas Jayhawks is stopping the running game. Kansas loves to run with #4 and #9 and both of these running backs can catch the ball out on the flats. Kansas also will run reverses and swing passes to #11 out of the backfield. I believe shutting down WR's #11, 0, and #2 should be a priority too. TE's #47 and #45 will be out there to block and release late to catch passes out of the backfield. Ultimately I believe that CU Buffs defensive backs can lock down the WR's for Kansas Jayhawks so the priority should be stopping Kansas running game and getting pressure on the QB #6. Kansas Jayhawks QB is prone to turning the ball over and he is not very accurate. Offensively, CU Buffs should be able to create mismatches by attacking the middle of the Jayhawks defense. I would pick on Kansas Jayhawks CB #3 he is the weak link on that defense. The Jayhawks are vulnerable to double moves, slants, post routes, and TE's and Rb's should be able to break free out of the backfield on late releases. Lastly, I like the idea of running screens with CU Buffs running backs and running the football with a balanced attack.
