I love the idea of this fight. It makes perfect sense. The prevailing opinion is that Holland is not championship level, just a fun fighter, and RDR is an unknown UFC commodity to the casual fan. At the same time, Holland is a fan favorite as you said, and RDR is champ level fighter from another organization. This fight gives him exposure and an emphatic and entertaining W gives Holland a whole new credibility as a fighter to be taken more seriously as a legit contender. Definitely should be the main card opener, both guys are getting a good bag. But perhaps for exposure, the feature prelim. Card is indeed looking juicy, the Islam/Arman rematch would easily make it a 9-9.5 outta 10, fully loaded card. A rarity for the January first PPV lately. James, definitely an Early Look, I'd watch/like for sure.

This a good fight. Holland is gonna KO rdr. Rdr has terrible striking, poor head movement, and stands way to upright. Holland will be too long, too fast, and overall too athletic. I don't see rdr doing well against any ranked guys.

This is a winnable fight for RDR. I like it. Kevin Holland got the crap beat out of him but Roman Dolidze inside of 1 round last time we saw him. I think they want RDR to fight in front of fans. It was interesting that his debut was at the apex.

You're forgetting an important aspect. Dolidze is a great wrestler and has good takedown offense and decent striking. RDR doesn't have that. He needs to create chaos in order to get his opponents down and his striking and striking defence is horrible. I'm Dutch myself, so I'm not biased here either. I think Holland KO's RDR
