JV is the only huge body available that fits what Lebron is looking for. they need a real big they can rely on. they dont need more wings or even shooters in general. they need a big that will rebound and alter shots, and most importantly at least challenge other superstar bigs in the paint. AD can't do it every game. they should also keep Rui. Him and Knecht could be future stars and both have excellent body size with athleticism and range.

Lakers' problem still lies in the need for a big to play along side AD. AD thrives as a PF. He was being overworked in the playoffs and against the Nuggets trying to be a top scorer and grab 15+ rebounds a game. As great as it is to see, that type of usage will ultimately get him injured. Lakers need paint protection or big rebounders. They have to ask themselves: will this roster beat Denver & Minnesota? Because those are the toughest teams in the West.

James harden would be a better fit than DLow because he is a better playmaker that can control the offense and shoot the three. You don't need harder to be good on defense and DLow wasn't he is still an upgrade but for the money I'm not sure he's worth it
