The best character to start for horse pasture is ma teng, he already starts with like a 25% discount on his elite wing Cav. The horse pastures make it free, not pretty much free, just free and you can field free elite cav armies including qing raiders that are horse archers.

In the book Dong Zhou was the one who give Red Hare to Lu Bu in order to have Lu Bu killed his adopted father and become his "adopted son" instead. So yes Dong Zhou was the first warlord who own Red Hare.

14:30, If the Ai was smart then those stakes would basically be barricades against the AI and be 10 times more useful, you could litteraly surrond your archers in them and the AI could never get to them as its hard to teach the AI when it should avoid the stakes, and when it should take the damage

The multiple crossbow engine needs Flaming Arrows to fire flaming projectiles since it uses arrows for ammo. BTW your generals will NEVER die from auto-resolving a battle so long as you win

Trmplays that 100 stat requirement is for the non-legendary character to become a legendary character. Legendary characters are more often than not, important characters in history, while some of them are just randomly generated fictional characters. EDIT: for example, that Gu Boxian I am 100% sure is a randomly generated character.
