As a Florida native, living in District 1, I totally agree. He has done absolutely NOTHING beneficial for this district, other than lie, prevaricate, scream, show his ass, drive drunk, and otherwise bring shame and stir up bullshit. I have a cousin who taught at the high school Gaetz attended, during the time he attended. She said that all of the teachers and many of the students hated Gaetz. The DOJ was about to indict the sitting Vice President for taking bribes while Governor of New Jersey. Nixon was about to be impeached. The 25th Amendment was hazy on who became President if both the Prez and VP were incapacitated. That gave clear information to Congress about what the out come of the Impeachment would result in and bought time to put Gerald Ford in the VP position so we were not without someone at the helm. Is it biting us in the butt right now, yes. Can it be changed once Trump is finally charged and convicted. Sure.

Read up on how sex crimes are dismally handled by US Justice system. The only thing that pushes the levers remotely towards ACTUALLY ASSESSING EVIDENCE, as if it was a poor person using drugs, is public outcry and eyes on the case. When people stop paying attention, scum make deals and intimidate witnesses and victims with impunity. Yes, even though it's illegal. We are nowhere near taking sex crimes as seriously as something as small as counterfeit money, as a nation, despite them constantly being used as plot points in crappy cop shows and in campaigns to score cheap political points with the kinds of people who want age of consent lowered.

There’s a big difference between “implicated” and “indicted”, “convicted”, “sentenced” and/or “sentenced to prison for five years or more with no possibility of parole”.
