They DID NOT hire Mayo with the thought that he would be there for years to come. If so, you would have given him time and the resources to actually build a team. I'm not saying you're wrong in saying that he had a bad year. My comment focuses on the notion that he was hired with the purpose of being there for a long time. If that were the case, you would go into it assuming a 1st time head coach would have some ups and downs, especially given the roster decisions that were made. He was not great but surely a second year and an improved roster would have been a better judge of where he was at. All that to say they should just be honest and say they wanted to move in a different direction, and they have their eye on someone else. There are plenty of examples of what it looks like when an NFL team has the thought of having a long-term plan with a head coach even if we don’t agree with it. Giants, I’m looking at you today lol

If I’m Ben Johnson, it’s the Bears that is the most attractive spot to coach. Caleb is the franchise QB and has a lot of potential to get better after a tough rookie season. However, there was an expectation that as the season went on, the team would show some kind of progress. Something similar to Campbell where the lions lost a lot in his first year+ but they were competitive in every game, established an identity, and looked better each week. The opposite happened here in New England. We never stopped making the same unforced mistakes and mayo couldn’t establish any kind of identity for the team except calling his players soft

Being a NYGiants Fan, I appreciate Woody's & Greenie's comments at th end of this video. To that end, I have absolutely zero faith that the Schoen will make the right picks in this year's Draft for Daboll to be successful next season. The Maras must be looking to get Arch Manning in 2026 😑 Good Luck in the Playoffs this month, Saquon 🙏🏾🫡 I wouldn't be mad if you help Philly get 💍s next month and leave no doubt how wrong Giants' management was for letting you walk.

The problem isn't the coaches for the losing teams. It's the lack of talent in a watered down league. The coaches pay the price because it's hard for GM's to get enough talent in a short span of time.

I'll be dipped... the Commodores didn't fire a head coach in the last 24 hours! Li'l Danny really did sell the team! It's a Festivus miracle! Now we just need Ted Leonsis to sell the Wizards. Baby steps...

@ did you see week 11-15? Are you blind. They crushed teams and fought harder than almost any team in the NFL. They lost the last two weeks in tight games to possible Super Bowl contenders. Its about HOW the team is playing. With a GABAGE QB! Why do i even have to spell it out for you. If your a Dallas fan inget it. You want McCarthy gone no matter what. But open your eyes. Hes not going anywhere they played great football with a 4th string QB.

I'm okay with Daboll being given 1 more year, but still keeping their GM is inexcusable. Time to watch/support a different NFL team until Mara either sells the team (very unlikely) or decides to smarten up (also extremely unlikely). At least we're not the Jets.
