I can't get through Nora's segments without at least one big ugly cry. They seem to get more devastating every week. The part at the end which is intended to make us feel a little better, where they show a happy moment in Gaza....sometimes that one breaks me the most.

Yes it is EI and Al Jazeera are the only news stations that are giving us daily coverage of the dire situation in Gaza, most western Press and Television stations are not interested, we have seen over 45.000 civilians killed including 16.000 children is just an under estimate of the deaths, as many bodies are still under the demolished buildings, but if Russia kills one person in Ukraine we get massive coverage of that in the Press and Television stations, all we get in the west is censored propaganda, I suspect this comment will be deactivated, and I have been threatened that I will be banned from commenting on here.

What’s becoming so obvious to people now is that colonialism has never ended just rebranded with different terms. From Natives indigenous people being called “savages” in the old days to now being called “terrorist” by neocolonialists who are neoliberals, neoconservatives, and zionist. 1) Savages is now “terrorist” 2) Civilizing them is now “bringing them democracy” 3) Colonies is now “territories” We can all see Israel is a colonial project being supported by former and current colonials such as U.S, UK, and others who also control territories of indigenous natives in Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands, Hawaii, and many more. The liberation of Palestine will definitely give RISE to many indigenous natives around the world to free themselves from western domination. This is the underlying ripple effect that the U.S government and its puppet allies don’t want to happen

Indeed. For example, homelessness in America doubled in 2024. A government report shows that in January, people experiencing homelessness shot up by 18 percent. The survey pointed to economic problems like rising housing costs. The Housing Industry has been bought up by private equities whose billionaire CEO's are often funders of the colonizer project.

“Jimmy Swaggart, another popular televangelist, told his viewers that the conflict in South Africa was nothing less than a struggle between Christian civilization and the Antichrist. In his presidential campaign in 1988, televangelist Pat Robertson called advocates for sanctions the "allies of those who favor a one-party Marxist Government in South Africa." After his race ended, he became even more direct: "There needs to be some kind of protection for the minority which the white people represent now," he said in 1992. And in 1993, he said on his show, "I know we don’t like apartheid, but the blacks in South Africa, in Soweto, don’t have it all that bad." At a time when the Dutch Reformed Church, the traditional theological backer of apartheid, was reversing its position, the American religious right provided new religious cover - and they made the case to millions of Americans who tuned into their shows.” - Apartheid Amnesia : How the GOP conveniently forgot about its role in propping up a white supremacist regime.
