Hence why I say that the 3 years left on all their contracts are not long term which means that they don't seem (on the outside) to believe in the project 100%. It's like they're saying that if things don't go as planned (winning the big trophies) in a year or two, then they can leave quite soon after that. If they all had 5-6 years which would be the norm for such young players and young manager, then they would believe in the project and the owners 1000%. If we don't win anything again this season, then they all suddenly only have two years left on their contracts. Is that ideal in your world? We just needed 1-2 players more of high quality and we would've been there. A LW of high quality or a striker like Gyokores + another CAM instead of Vieira and Odegaard. I have seen this too many times before. We've been in this exact position multiple times before where we just need the last two pieces of the puzzle and then we go out and end up with a profit on the market. That's why I'm not optimistic at all and it's not a good look for our star players that we just needed a couple of top players to really get there and then we go out and make a profit. How is it even possible that we all thought that Arsenal would've had like 150-200m to spend this summer and on top of that, we sold players for over 100m and yet we didn't even spend a 100m ourselves? Like, it doesn't make sense at all. Does that mean that we didn't have any money to spend or what?
