Deion Sanders discusses frustration from Shedeur Sanders
Deion Sanders and the Colorado enjoyed a 27-24 victory over Arizona State over the weekend. It was a return to form for the Buffaloes, and a much needed win after some tough performances.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders balled out once again, but he was visibly upset at times during the victory over the Sun Devils. Speaking with the media afterwards, Coach Prime explained where the frustration is coming from for Sanders.
“He’s mad. He’s upset with the way this looks,” Sanders said. “He’s upset with the way it’s going. He’s upset with hit after hit after hit. You think he’s happy, being the most sacked guy in college football? He’s still doing what he’s capable of doing. He’s sick of it.”
Still, Sanders led a game-winning drive that secured a win for Colorado, coming up big when it mattered most for his team.
“Every drive is key. He always does this,” the Colorado leader added. “You see it every week, this ain’t new for him. You’ve seen this every week. We’ve seen him do this every week. It’s like we wait for him to put on his cape and do what he does. That’s what he does every week. You guys should be accustomed to it by now.”
Shedeur Sanders has announced himself to the college football world, even while the Buffaloes’ offensive line has faltered. Colorado has some more winnable games coming up, and the quarterback will look to continue to impress in the coming weeks.
Deion Sanders reveals message to Shedeur Sanders before game-winning drive
Moreover, Shedeur Sanders engineered a game winning drive in Colorado’s 27-24 win over Arizona State and Deion Sanders revealed the message to his son just prior to stepping onto the field.
Shedeur led the Buffaloes on a five-play, 50 yard drive in 38 seconds. It was capped off with an Alejandro Mata 43-yard field goal.
That came after ASU tied things up late following a Colorado punt. Deion Sanders wasn’t surprised at what his son did in the end.
“I believe in mine,” Sanders said postgame. “Why do you think I brought him here? He don’t miss. Call timeout and freeze them all you want, they don’t miss. He is who he is. That’s what he always says to me when I walk over to him again. He says ‘I don’t miss.’ And I love him. So I told him to do your thing. Do your thing. Get your shine on. Your moment baby. Live it. That’s what I told him.”
Shedeur Sanders finished the game 26-of-42 passing for 239 yards and one touchdown. It wasn’t the flashiest win for Colorado, considering Deion said the team played like “hot garbage,” but they got the win.
If that was the overall theme, at least Colorado still won its fourth game of the year. Most outlets projected the Buffs’ win total at 3.5 for the season.

I agree with the access to the behind the scenes footage of the Colorado Buffalos football team. Basically, the average (black) fan cannot financially accommodate a visit to the game to personally support the team, while the fan base for sports has been predominately white for decades. While I don't condone some of the "playing around" that the content promotes, I do enjoy the feeling of "being there" that would otherwise not be possible; Also, most of the players emerged from this disadvantaged background......
