It was the same during Trump's 1st term in office. 24/7 press briefings, TV appearances, rally attending, incoherent Twitter posts and golfing. Virtually no actual work getting done. It's the US government being run like a reality TV show. Only a highly corrupt one with Russian agents in it. 🙂

@nyaatellI can count on one hand the number of times Bidens admin provided receipts or evidence of their claims. Trumps is sharing them every meeting. There is still plenty they expext to be taken in faith but the current admin has provided mountains more evidence to support their claims than the prior. Anyone with an ounce of authenticity can see that Trumps admin is more transparent. The bigger question is if you find the information accurate or not. This is where you should really focus your arguments.

These are great supporting arguments for POTUS Trump America First policy. JD Vance is brilliant. Innovation is an important point. Know-hows is also the key point for keeping the advantage w America and keeping it ahead of the competition w low income countries that complete on cheap labor and steal the innovation and investment money. Upgrading the infrastructure across the sectors and across the country, not only AI, is also an important foundation for an innovative society that will create a lot more jobs for the American people. ❤❤❤❤❤

@amandajayne2619
@amandajayne2619 Ай бұрын
Wake up! Economists agree that Trump's tariffs will negatively impact average Americans, but not Big Tech/ industry. Parts will still be made overseas, highly labor intensive therefore cheaper than using American workers (highest labor cost), tariffs will be cheaper on parts - paid by Tech/Industry - these parts will then be assembled by AI/robots in America but not by Americans. Big Tech then stamps 'Made in America' and jacks up the price for American consumers. Other goods will still need to be imported, again too costly to be hand made in America (labor costs), Americans will pay the higher tariffs. Trump is not bringing any jobs to America. Trump is bringing automation for the new class of robber barons. 'Hillbilly' Vance was a former tech industry venture capitalist.

One thing to note: Productivity has increased but wages have decreased dramatically over the last ~40 years. So it appears like productivity is ineffectual in some ways for workers and simultaneously decreased pay per hour has not been addressed largely. The real problem though is inflation/dollar devaluation (gov’t spending) along with outsourcing of manufacturing. Overseas manufacturing benefits the rich/corporations and gate-keeps the middle class and small businesses.

@raggedflaggon9566
@raggedflaggon9566 Ай бұрын
Well the thing is, the extra money in the system is not really the issue of why a lot of goods consumed by regular people has increased. That largely has to due with the destruction of supply and production capability. The reason being, all of that new money ended up in the hands of the rich. The rich don't suddenly start buying more toilet paper because they have an extra trillion dollars. They still only really consume regular goods at the same rate due to obvious biological constraints. So that extra money is not chasing the goods that regular people consume which is what people will say as why we should not have government spending. Albiet, the one good the rich are now chasing in single family homes as investments, so that is the one good where this is true. But the reason your other costs are increasing is not due to the increase in money supply. The issue with that is oligarchies and monopolies. Eggs for example, they will tell you has to do with the avian flu. In reality we have had avian flus quite a few times before and it doesn't take this long to replace the egg laying hens to bring egg production back to normal levels. The reason prpduction has not gone back to normal is because the big companies have no competition, and operate as a cartel. If any prpducer starts putting way more eggs onto the market they will overproduce and sell at a loss for long enough for the other producer to go out of business. Its a monopoly. They have realized if they purposely limit and destroy supply, then they can make a lot of money by the end consumer having to spend more money for less eggs. This is in every industry btw. Its due to Reagan's idea that a big company is efficient and that free markets will do the regulating for the government. He changed the merger guidelines and destroyed regulations and its been like this for 45 years until Biden actually started enforcing antitrust law and changing the merger guidelines. Trump seems to be continuing that policy, but time will tell. Most of the big companies have purposefully destroyed production and limited competition through this cartel like behavior. We also have an overfinancialization issue which has to do with the outsourcing. They can make more profit by selling out American workers, and the manufacturing and production capabilities of the U.S. Hope people now see why letting the free market regulate things is a horrible idea. Turns out the big companies will just outsource to wherever the cheapest labor exists regardless of how weak it makes your own country. They are also incentivized to buy back stocks, vs actually investing in research and development on actual things. They prefer to take the profits and send it to themselves through purchasing more stocks which creates nothing. They are inefficiently using resources and need to be broken up and regulated like we did in the 50s and 60s.

I am not seeing a decrease in salary over the last 50 years even with an adjustment for inflation, in the 1960s income was $30-$40K, in the 2020s it is in the $5Ok range, again these numbers are adjusted for inflation. I know the left has a difficult time with facts, but please do better. Less emphasis on what to think vs how to think, do your own fact checking vs the soft minded lazy reliance on the indoctrination talking points from the left, otherwise you come across as useful idiot, and that is being polite.

It is super common on sites like X and Reddit. I've found more and more bots on KZbin too in the past year or so since I've started paying attention. It's wild. That being said, I've noticed a lot of the people that look at content like this that are real, are typically super supportive of our administration. I'm in the middle and I see a lot of positives coming from this but also understand there's an inherent risk to this trajectory. I'm just hoping it works out on the tariff side of things honestly because at this point, we don't really have another choice in the matter and if it works in reality like its planned out on paper, we'll be solid. I just worry because how often do things work out on paper but not necessarily in the real world.

America is a nation of consumers now. They used to make everything but their own businesses thought it a better idea to ship those jobs out to low cost countries so they could enjoy bigger profits. Now wages are too high, and the low cost labour is being rounded up and shipped out with no one taking those jobs and a critical shortage of skilled labour, so not sure how they are going to build all those plants, let alone run them.

He is dismantling the old system of cheap labor without preparing the industries. We don't teach trade skills curriculum in K12 education and we don't have enough trade schools.... Four years is simply not enough to do all of what this administration wants and people who are running Democratic Party have "social justice" and "global warming" priorities. Once Democrats are back everything will be dismantled. People will be hired based on race again and cost of energy will go through the roof.
