His response was to cripple our economy, shut down our prison (A inmate firefighting training center) and allow the north state to burn (Carr Fire, Dixie Fire, Paradise Fire, Bear Fire) to name a few. Towns like Belden, Greenville, Chester, Paradise have all been burned into extinction or nearly there of. Lived in California 60 years. Hiking and camping the Sierra Nevada Mountains since I was a teenager. It was normal to drive or hike through areas that had lots of smoke due to "controlled burns" in fact the CDF would put up temporary signs saying "Do not report controlled burn". Also driving to my destinations the roads would always be in great shape, now you dodge pot holes constantly. For last 3 or so years we’ve been getting record levels of rain during the winter months. I’m a trucker here in So- Cal. I have seen the Santa Ana river and LA river over flowing from all the rain fall and it just drains into the ocean. I’ve lived here my whole life and never seen the rivers overflowing like that. It is so heartbreaking and pisses me off that it just flows straight into the ocean rather than saving it.
