👍 Great Video! 👏 Exactly how I feel. I’m tired of businesses cramming their social viewpoints and agenda down my throat - I’m just there to buy cheap milk - that’s ALL. 😻 Thank You for being there bringing common sense and reality back to the conversation! 🇺🇸 Happy Thanksgiving to everyone watching this video! 🦃

Walmart needs to put the My Pillow product back in their stores, too. That was a BULLSHIT reason for them taking it off.

And alienate 1/2 of its potential customers either way they go. Not a good recipe for financial success.
@markmarkofkane816717 сағат бұрын
But you don't alienate your customers. You can critique the government without alienating customers.
@bamafaninky86117 сағат бұрын
@@markmarkofkane8167 That’s the problem. The US has two primary parties and both keep moving to extreme views. The country is pretty much split on liberal or conservative. If a business choose to jump in the arena they may run off half their potential customers. Business is there to make money for owners/stock holders.
@bamafaninky86117 сағат бұрын
@@markmarkofkane8167 I don’t see that in today’s political environment. If I’m liberal and Walmart stops DEI I would spend my money at Target.

As a retired corporate executive the DEI concept was political racketeering where you would lose Government contracts, receive numerous lawsuits, bad press, and boycotting. End result was you were far better to paying for the DEI program.

Like you said, I understand the sentiment behind it. It just went too far. On the upside, with a major company like Walmart rolling it back, others will to. Hopefully they mean it. Time will tell.

I have a feeling my son's company won't. It's another big food chain. They happen to be Union and owned by vanguard which is basically Black Rock. He's autistic and very logically based. He has a hard time dealing with politically correct nonsense. So we found a way to keep him from getting in trouble. How are you? Can I help you. Stay away from the titles. Then of course like he always does treat everybody the same.
@jlleibold19746 сағат бұрын
By the way I won't be surprised if many companies stop DEI and all this won't crap. Our government made it to where many companies had to support it. Well at least feel like they had to. I'm not saying they shouldn't have stood their ground but things were made hard. Even coming from the EU. I'm sure that many companies are going to free themselves from the shackles of political correctness. It's driving them into the ground.
