Hi, Jesus, Different attorneys charge different amounts depending on where they work, how many years of experience they have, the size of their firm, the level of their service, and the complexity of the case they’re dealing with. Nonetheless, $10K is more than double what I have heard most colleagues are charging for a straightforward FPIP case. Clients are always allowed to seek new representation if they are not comfortable with their current attorney.
