I lost my husband to cancer in 2001. He was only 35 years old. There's only one man that I've ever met in my life that was as kind as he was, and that was my father. Such a sad story. Brings back so many memories and a sadness that never really goes away. I pray that Glenn, and all that knew and loved David, find peace during this very difficult time. ❤

I teared up over this. 😢 It really affected me. The empathy and compassion for someone I really respect (Glenn) and his suffering. And knowing how highly I value Glenn’s sense of ethics and values… I know his choice of David as his partner is one of the highest praises that can be given to David. Support for human rights, is an ideology. Every idea or stance is ideological. Everything is politics. This is why I despise conservatives. Their cognitive dissonance is disgusting. Also, FYI, conservatism is historically defined by its disdain for human rights. Conservatives want to preserve the monarchy, want to preserve slavery, want less protections and rights for minority groups, don’t want the government to protect workers rights, don’t support workers rights or protections, don’t support the lgbt community having the same rights, don’t support the right of women to vote.
