Don’t jump to that conclusion too fast especially as long as coach Shanahan aka coach Klein from The Water Boy keeps shrinking in big games with his fancy playbook. The only question is who Shanahan and Lynch are going to use as a fall guy and fire for their poor decisions at the end of next season. I’m not sure if Saleh should go back because there isn’t a guarantee he can recapture what he once had there and l don’t like how everyone else is blamed for their failures except for their golden boy with the fancy playbook and his boss. What they gave up for Trey Lance will also continue to plague them for a long time. They should’ve cut their losses by getting rid of Aiyuk because he is toxic for the team and he needs to grow up. Betting the farm on a player (T Lance)you didn’t even have much film on in the first place according to reports was reckless and it could set them back or any team in their position back for a decade or more. Purdy’s unexpected emergence kind of helped to minimize the damage inflicted by their poor decisions.🤔

Something tells me Khan wanted an offensive guy, and Baalke wanted defensive guy. When Trent ran off Ben Johnson and Liam Coen, I think Khan had enough; as knowing Trent either in negotiations or team plans he made it clear he was the boss; which I’m betting didn’t sit well. Khans team whether reaching out or through the grapevine heard Johnson agreed to Chicago and Coen was declining and going back to TB, they Khan investigated further; and my gut says that neither wanted to work with Trent under any circumstances. So, Khan cut the cancer out and one of Khans preferred candidates is back at the table; as Saleh until Baalke was fired was front runner. I think Baalke personally want to hurt SF and hire Saleh out of spite; and Khan found that out, I could be wrong; but getting fired during HC search is out of character for any professional sports team, something bad happened to cause such an exit. So, Trent, thanks for screwing up and possibly get us Saleh back! 😊

I thought Demeco Ryan's actually made more adjustments & was more creative than Saleh. Saleh had that pass rush that pass rush but he did do a pretty good job on defense with the Jets.

As much as I like this rumor I'm not going to get happy until it's official.. we have so many rumors like the Brandon Ayuk trade, he was expected to sign with the Steelers but at the very last minute he accepted the 49ers contract extension. So we should just wait and see what happens and once he signs his signature on the contract to be our defensive coordinator then it's a time to celebrate
