INEOS have uprooted the backroom staff and brought in proper (best in class) footballing people that likely want to change the culture and identity at the club. Ten Hag may not fit that profile that they want the new Man United to be. Its not rocket science lol. It makes sense for the club to be talking to managers, even if ten Hag is staying. For all we know, they could be trying to convince him to stick it out at Ipswich and not go to Chelsea so that he's available next season if ten Hag doesn't work out. And if they are looking to replace ten Hag immediately, given Chelsea's interest United need to put the feelers out if they want him to replace ten Hag. The only issue with the story is that this meeting has leaked.

Yes McKenna is a huge gamble but I think people forget that Arteta had never even had a first team job before taking the Arsenal one. When McKenna was at United under Mourinho/Ole, there was no complaints at all about training sessions given by him and Carrick, so people saying players won’t like it I think are wrong as he was known to be clear and precise with instructions. Back to back promotions with next to no money is impressive in itself. But to do it in the championship with teams in there that have left over PL money is even more impressive. League 1 promotion saw Ipswich with the lowest amount of losses (4) and a goal difference of 66 and the championship promotion they had the lowest amount of losses again (6) and the highest Goals For (92). Maybe it is just a 1 step too far going to United at this stage on his career, Or maybe it’s the complete gamble that United need.

See how he gets on for a season in the Prem with Ipswich. It’s a free hit for him. I think it's incorrect, but this might be Ineos' way of making a statement. Out with the old, in with the new. Unfortunately, ETH is the old-guard according to Ineos. It's bold, but ETH has already proved he can finish third with this average team. This season was gonna be a write-off anyway. Look at all the teams that had injury problems, none of them did particularly well. Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton all had poor seasons in the main. There is no way ETH would have finished in a similar position again, hell he's already got them paying much better towards the end. There's nothing to suggest that ETH was done with this project. I just hope this doesn't come back and bite us in the proverbials.

Iy would be VERY difficult for Kieran to come in now as manager, there are too many players still there who will remember him from being U21 manager and coach under Ole. Hard for him to get the respect he will need. He is unproven in the PL, so although he may appreciate the size of the task and the club having been there a while, it will be very different in the hot seat. Not the right time for him any more than it would be for Michael Carrick. I think it would be a bad decision for both the club and Kieran.
