Last year was my 40th birthday. My family and friends planned a lavish celebration for me. 20 days before my day, I was moved to finally do a 40 day fast I had been struggling and failing for months to complete. Suddenly the grace to go 40 days without food was there. My friends and family we very upset with me but the transformation of my life since then is undeniable. I don't think I'll ever celebrate my birthday again, in the right day. Ill celebrate after completing a fast. My daughter does not like it. But one day she will see how fasting on my birthday changed our lives. God is faithful. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
