Ali, why don't we build a block staircase to the roof? A fence around the roof, and a tent up there. It offers easy access to tank and a place to watch and relax. Also the pool water.... to keep it nicer longer without a pump, use salt. A big ol bag of salt dumped into the pool. Just be mindful that salt water will also kill soil. Nothing will grow where salt is lain.
