But siiiiifd charge weapons also use your normal items and scale with your damage/fire rate, so getting at least 1 of them is usually a good way to boost your dps (especially if you have homing/bouncing)

dmg% reduction to me only works one way, it is your max and not your current, so if you deal 10 dmg and pick almond and it looks like roughly 70% of your dmg is being reduced to me, so your dmg is always going to 30% of what your max dmg is, so your now dealing 3 dmg but you go to add on more dmg later on, the dmg being added isn't reduced per say, say the item or health gives 2 dmg, your max dmg is now 12 but that doesn't change the fact that your now at 30% of 12 so your current is now 3.6 dmg, percentage based reductions work like that in my mind, its the only logical way to me for it to work, so it seems like a terrible pick to me but that's cause i'm looking at the dmg alone while ignoring dps, and to be fair the math is easy, dmg x dps= what your dealing, if you deal 3.6 dmg 20 times a second so your fire rate is 20 you've got 72 dmg happening every second your firing, now lets say your fire rate is 3 and your dmg 12, your now dealing 36 a second, so faster fire rate is worth it i guess. and i'm sure my math is shoddy and someone who knows the actual stats of the game is gasping on horror at my awful guesses on how the game is working or someone decent at math is also dying inside but i'm a gamer and it was kinda drilled into my head by school that i suck at everything so anything beyond primary school mathematics is difficult for me.
