Crazy right? I didn’t either. It’s something we train ourselves to do, and it feels like “wisdom.” Good news is God will help us renew our minds to the Kingdom ways of doing things. Here we need to relearn to “seek the Kingdom FIRST” instead of seeking mammon first. Check out the Increase Challenge if you haven’t yet. It helps with all of this.

Omg that explains so much. Everytime i want to tithe i split the money between that and my charity when i should just do both. Thank you so much.i see why they say go with your first mind, it's always a God thought and then the opposite talks you out of it. That happens to me several times a month.since I'm not super clear on Gods voice i always second guess myself. Sometimes mammon sounds like your being sensible though.it's so tricky. A friend of mine is constantly "depressed" because she says she is low on money. I am unsure who much she makes, but when someone buys her a gift she is happy again. She never bothers to ask how i am doing or how anyone else is doing...does anyone know what type of spirit she could be having?

It is mammon. The fear comes from the mammon spirit. And selfwill is there. She is not a giver but a taker. Get rid of mammon and, I believe, the other things will fall away.

Well i looked up Mammon and its an actual demon but whats more bothersome is that Jesus refers to Mammon as a Master also.
