There is always going to be some sort of renegotiation of the relationship and the roles each of you play within the relationship because changes happen; either temporary or permanent. You both will need to decide to stick it out and discuss how you two are going to navigate those changes, what time are you going to be able to carve out for your relationship and your individual needs. You may also need to reset expectations of one another but those that are willing to do the work can and will make it work.

I agree with Kyesha here.. Plenty of times a couple together for years and never married by being in a relationship you are choosing to stay point blank. If you didn't then be single! I'm so glad you guys can discuss this openly and it's a conversation not an argument. It takes time and patience in a relationship. I feel these same pains with my girlfriend of 3 years. Things change and you have to choose to support the person outside the relationship bur they have to respect the relationship to an extent also.

I honestly think that you will be fine I understand that you want more affection and time It be like that But if you guys know how to balance your goals and personal time effectively your relationship will work It’s more than just sex It’s easy to be able to find time to have that sexual connection. But understand that sometimes you just want that mentally emotional connection just to spend time with her.
