I have heard one Orissa born District collector/IAS officer along with family left his district when floods affected amidst people are struggling in floods... But, you haven't left the state and worked hard in that backward state and tried your best to uphold the development activities.. Your work was appreciated by Newyork Times. What else you have left to prove? If these people give mandate to the hatred propaganda spread by BJP and sangis and they voted for religious radicalism rather than good souls like u only because you are a Tamilian, then you don't need to be apologetic and it's orissa people to deal with their fate.... I think you have even tendered resignation from the service too. It's time to come to our home state Tamilnadu and work with/for our TN People... Near his hometown there is a small and medium level village. 85% of the population has not stayed in odisha right now for a decade. If you are talking about the qualities of Naveen Patnaik let me explain, - he is fearing for public speaking. He is not interested in why people of odisha are not aware of it. He hasn't done any long speech, or direct public conversation. The 2009 kandhamal controversy forced him to break the alliance with NDA. This is the reason Kristian religion massively grew the remote district like gajapati, kandhamal, Rayagada, koraput, malkangiri and Kalahandi. -Cyclone management I saw each and every cyclone happen in odisha from 2013. But there is nothing else except news and sudden power supply (started from 2014 in 2013 after 2 months re got reconnected to electricity) and all the benefits like tripal, reliefs stored the sarpanch in his house, later distributed among the BJD workers. They are highlighting some of the projects they are well managed but in reality that's looking nice on paper only not in the field. If you have any particular development let me know I'll explain the failures. And one good quality is he never did politics with rough statements like Bjps candidates are doing.
