I think all of the songs on the album are great, but my least favorite are for sure Psycho and Down. Psycho just has a chorus way too similar to Never Again (compare "psycho, let go" to "time will not take the life from me"- it's basically the same thing), and Down, although it has a great riff and I love the end, is just not the most memorable. I'd say my personal favorites are Tourniquete, Blood, Dark Of You, Save Yourself, and maybe Close Your Eyes? That one's still growing on me, haha.

Johan Magaña Psycho is probably my least favorite. The transition from dark and heavy verse into Disney channel Great Divide chorus just isn't doing it for me. The instrumental is great though. Love the riffs.

Love how yhe lyrics go back and forth from loving to hateful, grateful to emotionally drained. And Ben's voice sounds genuine at times and vulnerable and then to pure disdain and anger. The instrumentation compliments it well too. Very well done. Sounds basic on the surface but its really deep in actuality

No idea if it's intended or not, but the imagery of the flames in the iris has so much more significant value when you consider all the way back in 'Breath,' Ben is having an argument/discussion with himself, and he says, "I know that I can find the fire in your eyes." To me, anyway, that always came across as him telling himself that he knows deep within there's a hope and a will to live, albeit suppressed and faint, and that he knows it can bring him victory over his afflictions. And years later, we have a beautiful new album, a vibrant tour life, and it just feels like Ben is at long last seizing what I can only hope is joy and peace with his own two hands. He found the embers he was looking for, and the flame is rising.

Yeah they add a little here and there, but there are no suprises with Breaking Benjamin! Ben actually pulled the kids in the audience on stage. And I'm not talking "kids" to us... I'm talking kids under say 12! Because he knows they are our future of music! If you ever have the ability to go see them live you should.... definitely!
