I was literally just talking about the sprinting off the break thing last weekend to my teammate. That makes all the difference in the way you set up!

A lot of times I'm running and gunning out wide off break and always keep my foot parallel to where I'm running, SO much quicker. I tried setting up square once to see how much slower it is and it really does make a big difference.

Question in regards to coming straight up vs. over. If you're next to a player and have to come up and around them then yes, I see it making sense. Watching a Greenspan video though, he made a comment that people that come up are more likely to miss high or low, and that means there's no possibility of them hitting anyone at all. While people who swing out off the break are more likely to miss left or right but still have a chance of hitting someone. Thoughts?
@howtoplaypaintball2 жыл бұрын
Maybe he meant something else. Coming straight up will allow you to focus more on the depth and height of the shot. Hopefully that makes sense.

I always kept my gun on the outside, not because of the change of a break on the gun, but because I'm goin to draw and tapeline that side; which makes more sense to keep it on the outside

First time I've ever seen someone explain the 3 point stance correctly. I play in D4, but I see that problem all the way up to the pro level, where the back leg is also the gun hand for the sprint position...never made any sense to me considering football already nailed that position down a long time ago. Only thing I'll say is technically if you get your feet closer together, you'll naturally be in a better position going forward.

Bunkerkings Featherlite Fly pants. They run a little but larger in the waist just as an FYI.

@@howtoplaypaintball Mad larger at the waist! I got a small and it could fit a 40+ waist. Its an odd sizing system.

This would be more for tournaments but even with five seconds you can mess with people too!

@@howtoplaypaintball the 5 seconds is try out days and what my field just uses as standard . Usually for walk on days they just yell “right side ready? Left side ready? GAME ON IN 5! “
