Breakthrough Miami Teaching Fellows at the Ransom Everglades Site traveled to Earlington Heights Elementary School for their day of service. This school is one of our top recruitment schools. They planted gardens in the main courtyard where students often congregate, celebrate, and conduct activities during the school year. They heard from the Assistant principal to understand the impact of their work and learn a bit more about the population of the school and its surrounding community. These gardens will be maintained by students through the school’s STEM program.
