The Real Reason the US is Invading Haiti w/ Dr. Jemima Pierre

The US is moving forward with its plans to invade Haiti by way of a UN-backed police force led by Kenya. The intervention was postponed after Haiti’s unelected prime minister Ariel Henry resigned in March but CARICOM's recent appointment of a 'transitional council' has revived the plans. Dr. Jemima Pierre, Professor of Global Race in the Institute of Race, Gender, Sexuality and Social Justice (GRSJ) at the University of British Columbia and a member of Black Alliance for Peace, discusses Haiti’s newest puppet leaders and why foreign intervention is not the solution to the deepening crisis in the country.

@@keith3970 who was the bread basket feeding? It most certainly wasn’t the Haitian people who were enslaved to the French. Haiti has their revolution to kick out the French and then they get slapped with debt for freeing themselves, saying they owe the French for losing them their slaves. If you’re going to come in here with history, learn it properly so you don’t look like an idiot.

@@keith3970French Haiti wasn't even feeding their own slaves, it was cheaper to import new ones when the old ones perish from starvation. But did anyone watch the new Bob Marley movie? It starts with Jamaica being split with infighting between two political parties, gangs are working for them, terrorizing people, even try to kill marley. The money shot is in the historical footage at the end of the movie with Marley meeting the two political leaders to try to unite the country. Two old white dudes are keeping Jamaica in state of unrest while probably making a killing extracting natural resources.

At the turn of the 20th Century, both the UK and U.S. were drilling water wells in the middle east, near Palestine when they struck Oil... then Natural Gas. The hush-hush, the deception and distraction... and the "Blame Game" began. British Royal Dutch Shell... and the USA have always went to WAR... for theft and control of Petroleum and Natural Gas rights. In November 2021, Shell announced that it is planning to relocate their headquarters to London, abandon its dual share structure, and change its name from Royal Dutch Shell plc to Shell plc. The company's name change was registered in the Companies House on 21 January 2022. The more they accuse, blame, create chaos, deny, deflect, distract, spread Hatred, Fear and LIES... the more they Project who "They Are", the more they confuse the World in order to keep the focus off of them. Nazi tactic, brought to another land in order to CONtrol. Presumed Authority breeds Unbridled Power. Israel only thanks America and the UK when America and the UK are in the room. America, the Big Yellow Stain on the Lands! Here it is, folks... Our Government pissin' down our backs and tellin' us "It's just raining". $3.8B a year for the past 30 years, and a recent "donation" of $14.2B. No wonder Israelis worldwide receive FREE Universal Healthcare and FREE College Tuition. Don't it always seem to go That you don't know what you've got Till it's gone They paved paradise And put up a parking lot Our Tax Dollar$ At Work! GIVING Israel the Power and the Munitions to turn Palestine into the Parking Lot Of Their Dreams!!! Gaslighting... It is all about the Benjamin'$. Gaza Marine is a natural gas field off the coast of the Gaza Strip. Along with numerous other Natural Gas and Oil fields throughout Palestine and off the coast of Gaza, estimated worth over $524B, the Gaza Marine1 natural gas field is located in water about 36 kilometers (22 mi) offshore at a depth of 610 meters (2,000 ft). The field was discovered in 1999 by British Gas Group and is estimated to contain more than 1.6 trillion+ cubic feet of natural gas. The DEAL with BG and the USA that NOBODY will discuss... and the 2 canals that they have been quietly planning that will run from the N. Gaza coast into the Sea of Galilee, and the lower canal that will run from S. Gaza coast through to the Dead Sea at Jerusalem, and down to the Gulf of Aqaba, to the Red Sea. The Suez Canal is out of the question... because, again... those Benjamin'$. Nobody will say a thing about the actual plan of "leveling Palestine" that the USA calls The Parking Lot. This has been planned for so long now... and to think, the propaganda used to distract the WORLD has forced the President of Harvard to resign. “Most Zionists don't believe that God exists but they do believe that he promised them Palestine” -- Ilan Pappe "We are the only people on earth asked to guarantee the security of our occupier ...... While Israel is the only country that calls for defense from it's victims." Hanan Ashrawi “Israel is a settler colonial project that is nearing its end, as colonial projects reach their final phase become more brutal and ruthless.” ~ Ilan Pappe "According to Zionism, this is the land of Israel and this land belongs to all the Jews of the world, not to the Palestinians who live there. If you have a supremacist ideology, then you must resort to violence. You must create an apartheid regime so that this Racist ideology can be realized. This is the State of Israel.” ~Miko Peled. "The tragedy of the people of Palestine is that their country was “given” by a foreign power to another people for the creation of a new state. The result was that many hundreds of thousands of innocent people were made permanently homeless. With every new conflict their numbers increased. How much longer is the world willing to endure this spectacle of wanton cruelty?" ~ Bertrand Russell Abdessalam Yassine, founder of Hamas, was born near Ashkelon, also pushed with his family to Gaza by Israel. To refuse to see that 60% of Gazans came from the places where Israelis now live is to be blind. We cannot understand October 7th without knowing History. ~ Shlomo Sand (Jewish historian) In international law, nowhere does one find that the occupying force has the “right” to defend itself. Instead, it is explicitly written that an occupied nation has the right to fight by any means necessary for its freedom. "After 30 years as a USA politician I learned to never believe Israeli figures" - Colonel Larry Wilkerson Read: "Behind Israel’s ‘end game’ for Gaza: Theft of offshore gas reserves"

Why Haiti began and remains poor (pt 1 of 7). During its colonial days, Haiti’s slave plantations supplied over half of the world’s sugar. But after the slaves gained their freedom from the brutal regime and the country declared independence in 1804, sugar disappeared from the economy as small farms produced coffee, subsistence agriculture, and food for local markets. In 1950, when Haiti was at least producing some sugar, its exports were far behind comparable countries: sugar exports in Puerto Rico were 35 times higher, and in the Dominican Republic exports were 14 times higher. A common explanation for Haiti’s resistance to producing sugar is that Haitian culture rejected the industry because of the associated historical traumas. However Haitians went to the DR, Cuba, even Puerto Rico to harvest sugar cane so there was not much of a cultural stigma towards the sugar industry. A major contributor to Haiti’s failure to restore its sugar economy was historical property rights institutions that created significant transaction costs to starting large-scale farms. 3 post-Independence property rights institutions: (1) a large redistribution of the former French plantations; (2) inheritance patterns on peasant land that gave every family member a veto right to selling it; and (3) a constitutional ban on foreigners owning land in Haiti. But the property rights institutions in Haiti are important because they were not established by colonists; instead, they were created by a newly independent nation in reaction to colonists. These are post-colonial institutions. From 1900 to 1960, sugar accounted for 76 percent of Cuba’s export value, 51 percent of the Dominican Republic’s, 46 percent of Puerto Rico’s, and 26 percent of Jamaica’s. Sugar contributed only 5 percent to Haiti’s exports. Less than 10% of Haiti's sugar production was exported whereas for the other Caribbean countries about 90% was exported. Since 1987 (demise of HASCO) sugar in Haiti has been a cash crop raised by peasants rather than by large-scale plantations. Unfortunately, the United States government always plays doubles faces when it comes to Haiti. They created chaos in Haiti in one hand, and the other hand they're making noise like they feel sorry for what's going on in Haiti. We need a president elected by the haitien people who has the gut needed to face the international foreign politics in Haiti and fix it. Otherwise recuse ourselves from it and join African governments in their efforts to liberate their countries of the imperialism. Haitian people should pull together to face this time the foreign army and force them to get out. Who put weapon embargo on Haiti for decades the same three countries who push to send soldiers in Haiti so they can steal easily as they did in the past and leave Haiti in an economical disaster. May God protect Haiti from those vampires or modern empires.

Dr. Jemima Pierre is suggesting that Haiti should get into a discussion with Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba....three communist/socialist countries as if most appropriate to help Haiti. That is what you call adding insult to injury. No not them need to get involved in Haiti's affairs, but neither should the US, Canada and France. Haiti needs to be left alone, it will either self-implode or once again re-blossom as a free independent nation. Facts remain unchanged, international intervention has not worked and will never be the solution, no matter how hard you try. Why they are trying the same formula once again is baffling. It is the perfect definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. It has not worked and never will.

I was irritated when I saw the US military contractors landed in Haiti to pave the way for the international troops expected this month. US neocolonialism at its worst in Haiti. Hundred Thousands people got butchered in Haiti under the watch of US Embassy and others didn't care. Few Americans know that the USA has invaded and occupied Haiti from 1915 to 1934.. US troops debarked in Haiti 1994, 2004, 2010, and now.. No other countries allow to help Haiti.
